Are there any deals on the Hilton hotels right now? Wouldn't they lower their prices during renovation? That should be their announcement, that during renovation they are cutting room rates for the inconvenience of listening to noise and having less of a hotel at your access.

While Hilton hotels aren't necessarily going down in price, they are raising the bar in amenities and comfort.
If the economy is so bad, how come hotels can charge $500 a night? It must by the Wall Street guys getting their billions of annual bonuses. I am glad we taxpayers are paying for them and the AIG stiffs to have their expensive vacations while we foot the bill.

I found my favorite spot for a great price at the beach. But at Christmas, everything seemed to go up. I guess you have to be flexible, and unfortunately I have a job so I can't go just any day.

You'd be amazed how many people actually travel for the love of a meal! While "foodies" (those who travel to a destination to eat a specific dish, dine on a certain chef's preparation, or attend a food event) are said to be in decline as a demographic, we suspect that their numbers have been absorbed into a larger fish pond of travel data. Foodies are going strong and there are now more food events than ever to appeal to the taste buds of travelers. The "signature cocktail & a hotel" concept may not draw someone specifically for the drink, but it's a great idea as a multi-sensory approach to branding.

That sounds pretty good. I like my razz mojito with Havana Club Blanco rum. Mighty fine! Also, stay away from the frozen raspberries if you can and use fresh berries and mint. Not sure if I'd stay at a hotel for a cocktail, but who knows.

The Mission Inn is just a few blocks from the Prime Outlets in Pismo Beach. From the west facing hotel rooms you can actually see the shopping center.
